5. Plugins and Tools

Google Analytics

I use Google Analytics on my website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Due to the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google Analytics is not subject to any data protection laws.

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

The processing of users’ personal data enables me to analyse the surfing behaviour of my users. By evaluating the data obtained, I am able to compile information about the use of the individual components of my website. This helps me to continuously improve my website and its user-friendliness.legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of my website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to my website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, I use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation function. This function allows Google to truncate the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide me with an evaluation of the visit to my website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of my website and the use of the internet.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google keeps a record of your IP address at

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

Google provides you with further information on data protection law, including information on how to prevent the use of your data.

In addition, Google offers a website at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google also offers a so-called deactivation add-on together with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the usual Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when my website is called up. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about visits to my website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to me or to other web analytics services. Of course, you can also find out whether and which other web analytics services we use in this privacy policy.

Calendly

You can make appointments with me online. For booking appointments I link to the tool “Calendly”. The provider is Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, 10th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30363, USA.

The data entered will be used for the planning, execution and, if necessary, the follow-up of the appointment. The data will be stored for me on Calendly’s servers. The data remains with me until you request me to delete it or the purpose for the data processing no longer applies.

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 49 para. 1 letter b DSGVO (performance of contract).
Calendly processes personal data as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. The corresponding contract, the Data Processing Addendum (DPA), can be found here: https://calendly.com/dpa. Calendly’s privacy policy can be found here: https://calendly.com/privacy
